What does Apple do when it is not suing somebody and is not being sued? It creates amazing gadgets ranging from top tier smartphones to powerful computers, everything that technology-savvy consumer needs. With the Lion OS recently released and the rumors about iPhone 5’s imminent release, Apple found the time to come up with the 2011 MacBook Air. It’s been so long since the Mac users had a reason to rejoice, but the wait was worthwhile, because this laptop brilliantly succeeds in outstripping its predecessor in every imaginable way.
The design is very similar to the previous MacBook Air, but that’s definitely not bad news, given the huge popularity the 2010 version had. In fact, there were many customers who were enthralled with the prospect of owning a MacBook Air simply because it looked so good. They no longer have to turn a blind eye to technological shortcomings, as the latest release is just as good as any laptop out there.
Powered by a 1.7 GHz Core i5 and 4GB of DDR3, the 2011 MacBook Air so it is twice as fast as its predecessor, while the battery life is nearly twice as good.
Having said that, the display is identical to what we’ve seen in the last model, so you will enjoy the same bright colors, good contrast and excellent viewing angles. The same can be said about the keyboard, which despite being similar to what the 2010 MacBook Air had to offer, it is quieter and the keys are fitted with a backlight. It should prove useful when you are lying down in your bed late at night and are simply too lazy to stand up and turn the lights on. Apple did it again, and they’ve come up with a product that should satisfy the fans as well as bring in a couple of Windows fanboys.
