I try and re-purpose a lot of things in my life just as a way to be a little greener. Plus, it’s also a really great way to save money. A lot of my furniture is stuff that I’ve found for free on Craigslist, or even for free from my family members who were going to throw it out. I’m willing to put the time and effort into fixing something up and making it look really great. But not everyone is. But I guess that benefits me, though!
I just recently finished up this TV stand that I repainted and added some other decorative details to that my aunt was going to throw away. When I was doing my research on that, I saw some info on bathroom renovation that I thought sounded pretty insightful. It’s something that I’ve been thinking about, but that’s some stuff that I couldn’t do myself, so I’ll have to get some outside help for that.
As for my DIY TV stand, I took some pretty wallpaper that I found on sale and lined the shelves of it with it to make it pop a little more. It really gives it a custom little look that I love!
